Early Voting in Arkansas

ALARM CLOCK ICON BLUE.png

Early voting makes it easier for people to vote when it’s convenient for their schedules, including on Saturdays for general and primary elections.

You can vote at any early voting location located within your county.

This is different from Election Days, when you need to vote at your assigned polling location.

Early Voting for General & Primary Elections

  • begins on the Monday TWO weeks and a day prior to Election Day

  • November 2022 General Election early voting begins on Monday, October 11, 2022

Early Voting for Special Elections, Runoffs, and School Board Elections

  • begins on the Tuesday ONE week prior to Election Day

Early Voting Hours for General Elections

Early voting begins for the General Election between the hours of 8 am and 6pm, Monday thru Friday, and 10 am-4 pm on Saturday.

Early voting ends at 5 pm on the Monday prior to the election, or November 1st.

Early Voting Hours for Special Elections Vary

Look up your county’s county clerk or county election commission, and search for special election details.

Go to the Arkansas Secretary of State’s VoterView to enter your address and find your polling location — both early voting locations and your election day polling site.
